This sauce is perfect for gnocchi or ravioli and so easy to make. I used it with Sweet Potato Gnocchi. It paired perfectly together.
- 1 stick of butter
- salt & pepper
- Fresh sage leaves
In a pan over medium-high heat, melt a stick of butter until it begins to brown. Be careful not to burn it! After you have given the butter a chance to melt, add in both whole sage leaves and chopped sage leaves. Continue to stir butter mixture. Once the butter has browned sufficiently, season with salt and pepper.
