I have been wanting to try Buffalo for the longest time. Last week when I was at Whole Foods, they were giving out free samples of Buffalo Chili. I posted the recipe for this although I have not made it yet. I have only tasted it, and it is delicious!
Last night, Todd & I rode our bikes over to Whole Foods to pick up something for dinner. Todd had the idea to make Buffalo Burgers, so we did! Whole Foods sold the meat already shaped into burger form so there wasn’t much prep work required (They were on sale too and really cheap!) We heated up the grill, drizzled some olive oil and salt on the meat and threw them on the grill!

Where has buffalo been all of my life?? These were out of this world. We served them with Tomato, Onion, Alfalfa Sprouts, Ketchup, & Mustard. These were huge too. I could just barely bite into the burger.
Yum. Yum. Yum. It was cooked perfectly too.
It is pretty surprising how good Buffalo is for you. If you want to check out some information about the health benefits, click here to go to The National Bison Association’s website. Bison/Buffalo seems to be the healthiest meat for you. It sure tastes awesome too.
If you have never tried Buffalo, you HAVE to! Otherwise, you will just continue to miss out on this awesome meat. I can’t wait to make it for my Mom and Dad. I guess you could say that they enjoy burgers and other such red meat. Once they try Buffalo, I know that they will love it and I’ll get them hooked on a healthy kind of meat!
