Baked French “Fries”

If you have never tried these, you are missing out!

Baking Potatoes (the number will vary depending on how many people you are cooking for)

Canola Oil

Kosher Salt

Cut potatoes into slices, just like french fries.  In large bowl, toss together the potatoes, canola oil, and kosher salt.  You can eyeball the canola oil and add as much as you would like.  I have found that not much is needed.

Coat baking sheet with cooking spray and spread potatoes on the sheet in a single layer.  Bake at 450 degrees for about 35 minutes.  Keep an eye on the fries as they cook, and turn if necessary!

You may also season your fries anyway you would like.  Old Bay is a favorite of mine.

**This same technique can be used for sweet potatoes.  However, I have found that regular baking potatoes come out more crispy like french fries.  Sweet Potatoes are still delicious though!
